Lagos Agric Commissioner, Abisola Olusanya To Chair 2025 African Church Harvest Thanksgiving On Sunday

The Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of The African Church Bethel Cathedral Church (ACBC), Ikorodu, will tomorrow, Sunday, September 28, hold at the cathedral church auditorium.

The special harvest service that is themed, “Harvest of Fruitful Labour”, will commence at 10:00am

The Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya will be gracing the occasion as the Chairman of the Harvest Thanksgiving.

The event will be co – chaired by Prince Adedayo Ladega, the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Hon. Sunday Benson Ayodele, Executive Chairman, Imota LCDA.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Agbaje is the Distinguished Guest Unveiler, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Wealth Creation & Employment, ESV. Wasiu Olayinka is the Eminent Personality of the Day while Prof. Kehinde Sanni, Rector, Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade, and Mr N.A. Salami, the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Zenith Peers Club, are Chief Launchers.

The royal father of the harvest thanksgiving is High Chief Olufemi Onafowokan, the Aro of Ikorodu while the Harvest Grand Father of the Day is Olukotun Emmanuel Adelabu, the Olukotun of Lanlate and Dr Oladimeji Ogunfolaju and Mr Olakolegan Oluwaseun are Chief Unveiler and Chief Harvester of the Day.

While the family of the Trustee of the Church, Late (Elder) Amos Olabinjo Oshin (Asiri Abo) is the 2025 Harvest Family of the Year, the Achievers’ Crew, a social, political, community based and developmental organisation is the Harvest Platinum Club of the year.

There are other numerous guests expected at the special service.

Speaking with THE IMPACT, Prince Oluwaseyi Adelabu, Chairman, Harvest Committee, described the harvest as a thanksgiving time and season of blessings.

“The Harvest is more than just a service, it is a time of gratitude, celebration, and a season of blessings. As our esteemed guest, your presence will not only honour God but also add colour and joy to this great occasion.

“Come expectant, come rejoicing, and come ready to partake in the blessings of a fruitful harvest. May the Lord of the Harvest reward your labour and grant you abundance in every area of your life,” he announced.

The Harvest Committee Chair added that the Cathedral Church looks forward to welcoming all the guests and church members to the special service.

Also speaking, the Cathedral Church Warden, Engr. Sunday Oshin, said that there will be Harvest Bazaar Sales where farm produce and other items will be displayed for purchase by guests and members of the church.
